Funds raised from selling the "Rose" are use to provide funds for our detachment to assist veterans and youth and provide other services to the community. Examples are help with bills, health and comfort items, scholarship assistance, humanitarian aid, and other needs. The funds raised are NOT used to pay for other detachment expenses, gatherings, Marine Corps League Ball, or other activities. The detachment provides full transparency on the use of the funds. The mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote the interest and to preserve traditions of the United States Marine Corps; strengthen and serve the fraternity of Marines and their families; FMF Corpsmen, and FMF Chaplains who wear or who have worn the Eagle, Globe and Anchor; and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism.
